The HRAA is a civic organisation whose members care about good governance in our area. We believe that ratepayers and residents must be aware of what is going on around them, so we encourage people to join their local representative organisations, and to stand up for their rights.
The HRAA comprises of members from the Helderberg community, and in order for us to effectively represent the ratepayers and residents, we need your support.
We as community representatives rely on the residents support and urge you to become members, that we may continue to look after your interests.
We welcome active membership of the HRAA and we always need willing helpers. If you wish to become more actively involved in community affairs please let us know.
If becoming actively involved is not for you, but you feel that you wish to support us, please become a member. We are an association not for gain and membership fees are used for the administration of the association.
Our ANNUAL membership fee is only R50 (NORMAL MINIMUM), or any higher amount.
THERE IS NO MAXIMUM!

- To ensure that the HRAA remains an authentic and powerful representative body, able to deal with a community problem, presented to, and followed through, with the correct authorities for speedy and positive attention.
- To have access to a legitimate and impartial source, to which you may voice your opinions on how you would like your suburb to be improved to meet your personal interests and needs.
- No need to waste so much of your personal time and energy in complaining about things to the seemingly “correct” authorities with a single small “voice”!
- To receive the regular HRAA Newsletters giving you the very latest on what is happening in your area. As a resident or local businessperson you have a right to know what is going on in your area.
- Knowing that you are contributing to the positive growth of your area in armchair comfort through your paid-up membership.
We believe that membership is a very good investment indeed!
